Let us know how you get on & if you choose to fix the High E problem. Hi Ploppy, the neck on the Deluxe is probably quite different, a bit more on that below, the high E problem is a process of elimination, it could be a saddle problem - easily fixed with allen keys & a screw driver, a high fret which would need attention from a tech or luthier, or it may be a worn groove in the nut, a replacement nut installed by a good luthier would fix that. May give it a clean-up now the guitar looks so good. I'm also lucky enough to have the original case in good condition. Oh, and a bette rqaulity string tree fitted.

The vintage cream is almost yellow now though!Įarvana nut fitted. I got this vintage cream one on eBay from the US to UK and I prefer the colour and the heavier weight. I have a red body like DogHouse13 but I never really liked the colour. I'm not a 'keep it all original' kind of guy, I prefer instruments that I will use, not to look at in some museum. Anyway, life got in the way and I finally just took it down to my local luthiers that I use. I had some Mojo pick-ups handwound a couple of years ago with the intention of fitting them as a project. Anyway, I finally got my Bullet set up the way I like it.

I'm always amazed at how active this forum is.
